We are able to offer a range of pre construction services which include a free initial site visit and consultation.

Further services include:

  • The preparation of building plans/drawings suitable for a Planning application
  • The preparation of technical drawings suitable for a Building Regulations application

  • Bedroom wardrobe layouts and a choice from a range of catalogues

Our charges:

For providing only the drawings for the Clients use for a Planning application our charges commence at £300.00 plus printing costs
Starting from a further £200.00 we will upgrade the drawings to a standard suitable for inclusion with a Building Regulations submission to the Local Authority
Other services

Since we commenced trading Cavendish Energy & Construction Ltd we have been asked to provide other services which are not technically construction works. We are happy to assist our Clients in any of the following matters using the experience we have gained.

  • Project Management services
  • Advice, when planning renovation works: useful also when considering improvements prior to marketing your property for sale.
  • The preparation of a full building specification for use when tendering to ensure all builders provide comparable estimates.
  • Project budgeting: we will provide a realistic estimate of the works before you commit to the cost of the design works.
  • Insurance work quotations and if required liaising with the loss adjusters to ensure that our Client gets the right compensation.
  • A quality control service which is obviously independent from our contracting operations. Here we provide the experience of a Chartered Builder to check various stages of your construction works and to provide interim reports. This service can be as in depth as the Client requires. With many new and often cheap contractors entering the market daily it is important that the Client is aware of the value of the works being completed and that the quality is within building standards.
  • Building reports: with more and more contractors simply walking away from the Clients when the money is spent we are being asked to cost works that are not completed and to provide budgets and detailed specifications to complete the works. Obviously our estimates are based on initial investigations but do provide a good insight into likely final costs and programme times.
